About Erna

I am Erna van Lingen and I have been working as a communication- and leadership trainer for 27 years (since 1997). I started my coaching practice in 2007 and was a session therapist in various addiction clinics for 3 years. I have completed many (therapy) courses focused on Trauma and processing, which allows me to support clients in processing their own processes. I take quality seriously. You are in good hands with me.

In my own upbringing I experienced life events that I went through without support from adults around me. I discovered and processed these later in life. I know how essential it is to have support from others around you. Together we discuss your life happenings and challenging themes. Exploring and feeling through is easier with support of others. I will be your witness and this process relieves the pain. It might also give you a different perspective at what happened to you and how you feel about yourself in the midst of what happened to you. With mild eyes we investigate what surfaces.

Thanks to my 30 years of experience in (top) sports, I have worked with children between the ages of 6 and 26. I have developed a strong radar for where someone needs (temporary) help. This has brought me, among other things, a foster daughter and several shelter pets. Because I notice what the real narrative is, can look at the bigger picture and act in times of chaos. I research without judgment and am empathetic.
